Managed IT services for Scottish and UK businesses

Managed IT is ongoing responsibility for monitoring, support, and improvement, not a visit only when something is already down. Cloud Guard delivers that for businesses across Scotland and the rest of the UK, from offices in Carluke, Glasgow, and Edinburgh.

A managed service provider (MSP) takes ongoing responsibility for your IT, covering monitoring, support, and planned improvement rather than only fixing things when they break. Cloud Guard Technologies provides managed IT to businesses across the UK, remotely and on site.

What does a managed service provider do?

A managed service provider takes on some or all of the IT function you might otherwise staff yourself: watching systems, handling incidents, keeping software current, and planning changes. You keep ownership of the business. We supply the operating rhythm.

That is different from a supplier you only call when the office is already quiet. We become an extension of your team. We learn how your IT works, then stay with it.

What does Cloud Guard take on?

If you already have IT people, use co-managed IT. If you are leaving someone else, read how to switch.

Questions we are asked

Is this only for Scotland?

No. We look after businesses across the whole of Scotland and the rest of the UK. We provide remote and on-site support anywhere in the UK, from our three offices in Carluke, Glasgow, and Edinburgh.

Can we keep our own IT staff?

Yes. Co-managed IT is the split: your people keep the work that should stay inside; we take monitoring, overflow, and the specialist pieces.

How do we start?

A conversation, then a look at the estate. A short trial is available so you can see how we work.
